With summer fast approaching I find any excuse to pull out my trusty grey Italian straw trilby when I spot a ray of sunshine. So I was pleased that a trip to the Italian Riviera was easily accessible without a plane ticket when discovering the Manarola fabric and wallpaper collection launched by Osborne & Little.

Inspired by colours of the region you can surround yourself by citrus, raspberry, terracotta, aquamarine and azure. Sounds like a tasty dessert and the motifs are equally as dreamy with intricate tiled wall patterns, village scenes of Liguria, illustrating its colourful painted houses, shuttered windows and terracotta tiles rooves you are immediately transported to sunny Palmaria or Portovenere.

If you fancy a relaxing walk through more delicate tones then the floral patterns illustrating dahlia, poppies, berries and artichokes named after the garden of Lake Como are for you. And to finish your trip the oversized tropical leaf patterns inspired from Paraggi are bound to get you in holiday mode whilst sipping a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio.
